Dental Exams & Dental Cleanings
We provide comprehensive dental exams every six months is to maintain your dental health. During your checkup one of our experienced dental hygenists will provide an evaluation of the health of your gums, a cleaning of your teeth and instruction for maintaining your care. The dental hygienist may apply a fluoride treatment, and dental sealants for your teeth, as necessary.
During your recare visit, Dr. Dobrowski, will provide a comprehensive exam, including evaluation of recent dental radiographs, and answer any concerns you may have.
Included In Dental Exams
Digital X-Rays
Dental X – rays are the most necessary medical imaging technology to help dentists diagnose any damage or disease that can’t bee seen with the naked eye. A full mouth radiograph series is required to evaluate not only a patient’s teeth for cavities but also evaluate supporting gum and bone health or evidence of pathology.
Fluoride Treatment
Fluoride treatments are applied to teeth during a checkup and cleaning. It helps to rebuild weakened tooth enamel and tooth decay.
Sealants
Sealants are applied to the molars, the rear teeth, as a preventative measure against tooth decay. Molars are rough and uneven, they often trap food that even daily brushing can’t remove. A sealant is a thin protective coating that covers molars, helping to keep food out of those hard to reach places.
Dental Exams & Cleanings
Examinations and cleaning are performed every six months or sooner to maintain your dental health.
Brushing & Flossing
Brushing and flossing your teeth daily is necessary to best maintian your dental health. Always brush in the morning, after each meal and at night. Be certain to floss between your teeth at least once a day to remove any food particles and plaque that your toothbrush doesn’t reach.
